Many lists online mix old and new Glo codes. Some still give *127*0# for data balance or *321# for sharing data, which no longer match what Glo lists. Here is the current set.

How to check your Glo data balance
Dial *323#. Glo replies with your remaining data and its expiry date. You can also open the Glo Café app or visit hsi.glo.com on your Glo SIM.
Glo sends a text when you have used 75% of your data and again at 100%, so you are not caught off guard.
How to buy Glo data, and the current prices
Dial *312# and choose "Buy Data". Glo revised its main bundles this year to give more data at the same prices. Every plan includes night data you can use between 12am and 5am.

Two rules are worth knowing. If you buy more than one plan, Glo uses the one that expires first. And unused data rolls over when you renew before expiry or within the grace period.
How to borrow airtime on Glo
Dial *303# and Glo shows the amounts you qualify for. To go straight to an amount, dial *303*50#, *303*100#, *303*200#, *303*500# or *303*1000#.
To qualify, you need to have been on Glo for at least 3 months and to recharge about 4 times a month on average. Glo charges a 15% service fee, taken upfront:

How to borrow data on Glo
Dial *321# and choose the data option. Glo shows the plans you qualify for, with a 15% service fee. Borrowed data plans also include night data.
Watch the repayment rule. Glo now recovers loans from your data as well as your airtime. If you still owe and buy a data plan, Glo can take part or all of that new plan to clear the loan. After 72 hours, the system can also trigger recovery on its own. Glo takes from whichever balance becomes available first, so clear the loan with *321*9*9# before you buy a big plan.
How to borrow airtime or data for someone else
Glo's Borrow for Others service lets you request credit for a friend or relative who has run out, and you repay from your next recharge. Dial *321# to see what you qualify for, or use these shortcuts:

How to share or gift Glo data
Share lets up to 5 other Glo users use your data plan. Dial *301# to add, remove or list the people sharing it, or use the sharing feature on hsi.glo.com.
Gift sends a data plan to someone else. Dial *301# or *312# and follow the gifting menu, or use the Glo Café app.
How to transfer airtime with EasyShare
Dial *131*Recipient's number*Amount*Password#. For example, to send ₦75 to 08155570458 with the password 12345, dial *131*08155570458*75*12345#. You get a text once it goes through.
The default password is 00000. Change it before you use EasyShare, so nobody who picks up your phone can send your airtime away.
Moving to Glo, or switching to eSIM
Porting your number to Glo is free and takes up to 48 hours. You must do it in person at a Glo shop or authorised dealer with a valid ID or your NIN. Any airtime left on your old network is lost, so use it first. After porting, you must wait 45 days before you can move again.
Switching to a Glo eSIM is free at a Glo shop for now, provided you buy a data plan of ₦1,500 or more at the same time. Glo adds 5GB of bonus data, valid for 7 days, and your number stays the same.
When a Glo code does not work
- "Not eligible" when borrowing. You need at least 3 months on Glo and regular recharges. Recharge a few times and try again later.
- Data vanished after you bought a plan. You probably had an unpaid loan, and Glo recovered it from the new plan. Dial *323# to see what is left.
- Line barred or codes failing. Check that your NIN is linked by dialling *996#. Our NIN to SIM guide explains the fix.
- Menu looks different. Glo updates its menus from time to time. Follow the labels on screen.
